Image Spams, empty spams, how is your filter keeping up?

July 18th, 2006 by mkatz

Image spams seem to be giving spam detection engines fits - both open source and commercial vendors. The past few weeks have seen a huge increase in broken, empty spam messages and new mutations of image spams that are evading many filters. Curious to hear how your filters are holding up and if you have found any effective tactics to increase detection with spamassassin rule manipulations.
